Wow! Snow!

Understand. I live in the South. We don’t get this very often anymore.

And the only thing Skyler wants to do is stand on the porch and bark at the people sledding on the road. Doesn’t like her tootsies to get cold anymore. I guess with the other two dogs gone now, there’s no peer pressure to be out in that cold, wet, nasty stuff.

I walked around out in it…I do like the snow. I had wood for the fire place, the rechargeable batteries were all charged for the camping lantern and I had plenty of books. I just didn’t want to be held hostage by it for too long.
But the snow plows kept the roads pretty clear. Only the nights and mornings were dicey with ice covering things. Still are…even on Monday. So it’s been several days at home with Jeffrey Deaver, Sandra Brown…oh, and Skyler.

And I got a few sled rides from the neighbors who were kind enough to share their sled…

…and give me a shove or two.
Woo-hoo!

We used to have a lot of snow when I was a kid growing up here. Snow every winter and lots of it. That doesn’t happen that much anymore.
But I think I might have to get myself a sled!
The sled ride looks fun!!
