You are on your way!
I’m at the hospital with you mommy and daddy and we got here about an hour ago.
I spent the day with your mommy. We went to lunch at Chick-fil-a and then did a little shopping. Then we went to pick up your big sister, Mikayla from school. I told your sister that her mommy thought you were going to come today. She was VERY excited! She is very ready to be a big sister and I know she’s going to be a lot of help to your mommy and daddy. She’s staying with Grandma and Grandpa D tonight while your mommy is having you.
Right now there are lots of people in the room with your mommy — people are admitting your mommy to the hospital and the nurse is hooking her all up to the monitors. I hear your little heart beat….bu-bump, bu-bump, bu-bump. It’s SO COOL to hear it!
Your Paw-Paw Eddie is here with us right now with your daddy and I. He’s had a great day he said is VERY excited that you’re on your way. And your Nana is on her way up right now.
Mommy is resting now from the last contraction….gathering her strength for what she knows is coming.
We’re looking at the monitor that is strapped to mommy’s belly where we can see the contractions as your mommy has them. I told your daddy to look at the screen because that big “hill” we just saw was a contraction. Your mommy said, “Hey, watch the screen and I’ll show you a magic trick in a minute.” LOL. That’s YOUR magic trick she’s taking credit for baby!
You’re on your way baby. Come on…we’re all waiting to see you.
