Yes, it’s another story about my little fishy. Perhaps this is getting old for you, and, if so, too damn bad I apologize. For me, seeing that little five-year-old body so comfortable in the water…like she is as comfortable there as she is on land…is something I never get tired of.
Besides, look at this face!

She heart’s this!
Here are some of the pictures I took yesterday.
As we were leaving the aquatics center, I mentioned to Kayla that I had a lot of pictures of her swimming today. She looked at me, a bit puzzled, and said, “You took pictures of me? I didn’t even notice because I was so busy.”
She sure was…

As for news on another little fishy…the one swimming around Mikayla’s mommy’s belly, no news on Miss Leilah attempting to arrive quite yet. It was supposed to snow last night, and, if it had, I’m sure she would have made her way into the world! As it is…we’re still patiently waiting.

That is so cool! Forget Michael Phelps — Mikayla’s on her way up!!
Great photos, too, Grandma!
Thanks, girl! I know, right! She’s an awesome swimmer for a five-year-old.
And the great pics are thanks to my new little Canon camera. I think it’s the best camera I’ve ever had. Point and shoot and it’s a great pic!
You are creating a treasure for generations to come! Keep it up! (Besides, if you document a story I can use, a quick change of names and dates and I’M the one who becomes a cool gramma someday!)
That’s part of the reason I’m keeping this. A friend said, “And isn’t that going to make a great journal for Mikayla when she’s grown. And he’s right. It will be awesome. Lots of stories from the lips of my grandbabies preserved for them.
And, see, I’m just creating a “template” for you to use! Use away! But I think you’ll wanna provide your own fishy pics! : )
Thanks for the comment!
HA! *patiently* is not the word…Andy is still trying to booze me up, and slick me down! (red wine and mineral oil…)
Castor Oil! Woo-hoo! And no wine for you and Leilah!
